    From My understanding though - we have the longer fasting break in addition for autophagy and immun system related factors - not only does it spike insulin or not. So it might still have benefits to keep the coffee pure black if it's not only about insulin but the other fasting factors I would assume.

    I can’t get into ketosis either. I’m approach my 40th hour on the way to at least 42 hour fast (we’ll see when I stop) and I’m barely producing ketones. (≈25 ml/dL). I’m also bald and ugly…is there a correlation?

    Fat fasting is how my mom made a tumor in her liver shrink and basically disappear while doctors wanted to cut her open right away. She starved the tumor that needs carbs×sugar to grow. It's been 10 years ago by now since she got the news that the tumor shrunk and even the doctors were shocked. God bless her. ❤

    Butter will store fat when you been fat adapted long enough so don't over indulge. Enough to taste once it tastes bad you had to much fat for the day.

    My experience has been lowering of blood sugar. Keytones are definitely lower. My thing is it's a slippery slope. We need to know what it's doing to the liver and our insulin levels. It just stimulates my sweet tooth addiction.

    Yes i just discovered my blood glucose leels are always on the high side....i have had chronic lyme and believe it stuffed my mitochondria....now ages ago when i was still sick i remember taking it and losing weight...so Im going back on it ,as i always struggle with my weight,due to being chronically ill for years.Cortisol spikes blood sugar is what i believe.

    Thank you for the video. According to Jessie Inchauspe and a lot of research it is better for your blood sugar to have that piece of cake after a meal with veggies and protein and preferable for dinner. I have started my days with sweets and i have seen a big difference in my energy levels and mood. Everything goes better when I start my day high in protein.

    Pure fat fast = diarrhea. Soak the fat up in coconut flour, add egs and fry the thing. No diarrhea.

    Allulose is from CORN: it's GMO, causes boweltract illnesses, corn is treated with glyphosate which causes cancer +immunosuppression. Thanks to Monsanto, there is NO nonGMO corn worldwide due to wind crosspollination even when called "organic." GMO foods cause kidney and liver damage. Don't eat corn or corn products, ever. It supports farm subsidies to overproduce corn that is mostly fed to cows not people (which cows can't digest and makes them sick) +is made into ethanol a gasoline additive. Tate+Lyle who invented/lied about Splenda are the top makers/spreaders/funders of the studies on Allulose. Go on, search it for 5 minutes.

    I think this is a good video, however, as I'm sure you realize, doing a single set of readings over a single time period doesn't give you the best results. I know it's not possible, but a good test would be to use one sweetener over the course of say 3-5 days and take readings every couple of hours. Also, I've seen some reports that allulose may have other beneficial properties that might only show up after prolonged use or when combined with other foods than coffee.

    I just did a 3 day fast and on day 3 I was living with BG around 54 and ketones around 4 plus. I felt good. When my BG got closer to 50 I felt hungry so I broke the fast, started with acv and bone broth. Then had a real meal with meat and vegetables. Now I will have one or two meals a day for awhile then do another fast. Maybe 36 hours since my fasting blood glucose and ketone production have remained good.

    Thank you very much that's so helpful! Quick question: if the sweetener does not contain glucose, what elevates Keith's blood glucose after sweetener intake? Is it gluconeogenesis? What is the supposed mechanism at play there?
